Yi-Fan Han obtained his doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from the East of China, Sci&Tech. university in 1997. After consecutive post-doc. and researcher at Fudan Univ. (Shanghai, China), Ulm Univ. (Germany) and Texas A&M Univ. (College Station, USA), he joined Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (ICES A*STAR, Singapore) as a Senior Research Fellow in Nov. 2004.  His research is focused on elucidating the complex industry catalytic reactions, developing supported single and bimetallic metal catalysts for environmental concerns and design on-board H2 purifier for fuel cells power vehicle, VOC combustion and synthesis of green chemicals such as H2O2. He is also very interested in characterization of solid catalysts using techniques such as in situ DRIFTS, operando Raman, XPS etc.. His research activities in the field of heterogeneous catalysis are documented in over 80 publications and 1 US patent.
