1) Professional Biography 2004 -now: Full-time Professor, East China Normal University (Shanghai, China) 2001-2002: Research Assistant, National University of Singapore 1998-2000: Postdoctoral Associate, Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) 1998: Ph.D, Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences 1992: B.Sc., Inner-Mongolia University.
The research in my group is focused on green homogenous catalysis with utilization of functionalized ionic liquids (ILs), and heterogenization of functionalized ILs on mesoporous materials. These include:
- Construction of functionalized IL based catalysts with different catalytic behaviors located individually in cations or/and anionis that constituent an IL’s structure.
- Construction of compatible IL compositions for homogeneous catalysis, which constituted by catalyst-functionalized IL, co-catalyst-functionalized IL, additive-functionalized IL, and solvent IL.
- Development of novel heterogeneous (bi-)functionalized catalysts through grafting functionalized ILs covalently in the channels of mesoporous materials like SBA-15.
