Paul Low

Dr Paul J. Low

Paul Low studied at the University of Adelaide. He received his BSc(Hons) degree in 1993, and PhD in 1997 under the supervision of Prof M.I. Bruce. After completion of his PhD, Paul moved to Canada to undertake postdoctoral work at the Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences with Arthur Carty. In 1999 he was appointed to a Lectureship in the Department of Chemistry at Durham University, and was promoted to Reader in 2006. Paul's main research interests lie in the interplay of redox state and electronic structure within conjugated organic and organometallic compounds, and synthetic chemistry in the most general sense. Paul has co-authored 100 papers and review articles in these general areas.
