He was presented iAc Award from Institute of Chemical Engineers, UK and also an Outstanding Young Researcher Award from China and for the recognition of his contributions on developing new classes of nanomaterials for catalytic processes. His research interests are mainly on functional nanomaterials and applied catalysis concerning energy and environmental issues such as energy storages (fuel cells, hydrogen storage), cleaner combustion, green chemistry (oil, gas and coal ultilization), energy efficiency chemical processes (carbon capture), catalytic processes for energy production (i.e. photocatalysis) and materials for energy conservation, etc. He has published more than 160 papers, monographs and patents in these areas. |
